DESCRIPTION: |
Intensively cultivated area (wheat and barley) in an endorreic basin surrounding the Lake of Gallocanta. |

FEEDING AREAS: |
Cereal cultivated fields with some sunflower. Maize fields in the southeast, areas, along the Jiloca river. |

ROOST: |
Shallow waters of the margins of the lake, in "Los Ojos" (northwestern corner of the lake), but also in La Pardina (eastern margin) and "los Lagunazos de Tornos" (southeastern margin) |

|
PHENOLOGY: |
This area has been used as a wintering area since the early 1970s, but mainly as a staging area during both migratory periods |
