DESCRIPTION:

Intensively cultivated area (wheat and barley) in an endorreic basin surrounding the Lake of Gallocanta.

FEEDING AREAS:

Cereal cultivated fields with some sunflower. Maize fields in the southeast, areas, along the Jiloca river.
ROOST: Shallow waters of the margins of the lake, in "Los Ojos" (northwestern corner of the lake), but also in La Pardina (eastern margin) and "los Lagunazos de Tornos" (southeastern margin)
PHENOLOGY: This area has been used as a wintering area since the early 1970s, but mainly as a staging area during both migratory periods
