The picture shows a conventional battery powered transmitter attached to the Blue Long ring on the left leg of a German young. Note that the
longer length of the antenna in relation to
the tarsus is compensated dividing it in two sections, one of the pointing upwards and the other one downwards, to avoid it touching the ground
