Banded in:

Alt Sammit (Cossensee), Krakow, Germany, on 18 Jun. 1999, by G. Nowald, V. Günther, S. Röper, T. Fichtner and H. Dirks. It was a young without siblings), and was provided with a backpack transmitter (antenna sometimes visible on its back).
Observed in:

- Gallocanta Lake, Teruel (Spain), on 13 Feb. 2000, the bird was photographed by VMu, when the family arrived to drink in the afternoon (see left). VMu reported the bird on four consecutive days and was also able to observe the antenna of the transmitter (see below).





 
The transmitter and antenna were sometimes visible
on the back of the bird
