Red Long + metal / Green-Black-Red

Banded in:
Älvshult, Ambjörnarp, southeastern Västergötland, Sweden, on 17 Jul. 1996, by S.
Lundgren. It was a young 6-7 weeks old, and its sibling was also banded.
Observed in:
- Ambjörnarp, Tranemo, Västergötland (Sweden), on 28 Sep. 1996, with its sibling
and parents, 30km south of birth place, by SLu.
- Sündische wiesen, Stralsund (Germany), on 19 May 1997, by GGr.
- Gallocanta Lake, Teruel (Spain), on 28 Feb. 1998, by
RTo, RSe and JMñ. The bird was also seen until 3.3.98.
- Vadboden, Hornborgasjön (Sweden), on 9 Apr. 1998, by JFr, LET, HEr, AKs. BGB, IAm. Also seen until 22.4.99.
- Groß Mohrdorf, Stralsund (Germany), on 17-18 Oct. 1999, by ELA.
- Valdivia, Badajoz (Spain), on 20 Nov. 1999, (reported by SLu). The bird was also seen on 2 Feb. 2000 in Torviscal; both localities are close to the wintering area in Navalvillar de Pela.
- Vadboden, Hornborgasjön (Sweden), on 6 Apr. 2000, by LLa. GHe, DGr, SLu. The bird was also seen until 11.4.00 by SLu, who reported the Green band damaged, partly white.
On 13.4.00 these pictures were shot by VMu.
NOTE: Although the top ring of the individual combination could be
confused with a Blue ring, the metal ring on left tarsus allows
identification. The bird "Red-Long / Blue-Black Red+metal" has the
metal ring on right tarsus.
