Banded in:

Gallocanta, Spain, on 17 Nov. 1988, by J.A. Alonso & J.C. Alonso. It was an adult, parent of a young also colour banded (Red-Black-White), and was provided with a backpack transmitter (visible on its back).

- Granja de Torrehermosa, Badajoz (Spain), 29 Jan. 1989, radiolocated from aircraft by A&A.

- Hornborgasjön, Västergötland (Sweden), 9, 10 and 12 Apr. 1989, by ABe, POS & BBb, POS and HDi (picture shows the transmitter apparently without antenna).

- Hornborgasjön, Västergötland (Sweden), 11-12 Apr. 1990, by AKs.

- Kartzik, Rügen (Germany), 3 Apr. 1992, by RWe, who reported the bird as an adult female.
